Description

Read. Create. Protect. Join a fun community contest combining reading, art, and storm water education. Beginning April 1, students in grades K-12 can stop in any KCPL Branch to pick up a log. Read three water-related books, complete the log, then create a work of art inspired by the reading. Drop off completed logs and art to any KCPL Branch by May 1. One winner in each age range (K-5, 6-8, 9-12) will be selected to win a prize and to have their artwork displayed by SD1 and/or KCPL. Art may be 2D or 3D. Winners will be notified on or about May 19.
