Events › Meet Nile, A Life-Size Humpback Whale!

Do you love marine life, but don’t have time to make it to the ocean this summer? Have no fear, Nile is here! This 43 foot life sized inflatable humpback whale is swimming to the Covington Branch for a fun, educational experience. Discover the remarkable similarities between whales and humans, and have the hands-on-experience of touching real whale artifacts and a create a fun craft!

*This program is intended for patron ages 5 and up.  Children under 5 are not allowed inside the whale but can admire it and enjoy the different activities in the main floor. 

Please, only register patrons who are 5 years old and older.  It is the same presentation in each of the four sessions listed.  Any patron who signs in more than 1 session will be kept in the earliest one registered and removed from any additional sessions.
