This exciting talk traces the history of Cincinnati as a media entertainment capital of the United States. With WLW Radio and Television’s high powered tower, being on the Radio or Television in Cincinnati was the best you could do in the 1930’s through the 1960’s. National stars like Andy Williams, Rosemary Clooney, The Mills Brothers got starts in Cincinnati as did local celebs, Ruth Lyons, Bob Braun and Rod Serling. Cheri Brinkman is the presenter.
