Events › Sensory Friendly Storytime

Join us for Sensory Friendly Storytime every Tuesday morning.  This storytime is designed for neuro-divergent children and their caregivers and will feature stories in multiple forms, low lights, and low volume.

Storytime will happen from 9:30-9:50 with songs, books, and props that allow children and their caregivers to interact and foster a love of reading. From 9:50-10:30, kids and caregivers can play and chat while exploring activity stations. 

This program is designed with children ages 3-5 in mind but children of all ages and siblings are welcome to attend.  

To ensure this storytime is smaller, reducing the crowd size and noise level, attendance is limited to 10 families.  Please register your family as a group of 1.  If you are unable to attend, please unenroll so families on the waitlist can make arrangements to join us.  

Please remember that children of all abilities and developmental levels are encouraged to participate in all library programs.
