Kids and teens, submit your entry for the Kenton County Public Library Comic Contest!

The best in show will be selected from each age group (Kids Division: up to age 12, Teens: 13-18). Winners from each division will receive a prize basket including an anthology of all winning entries. Additionally, winning submissions will be added to the pre-existing anthology for patrons to check out and read!

Please refer to the submission guidelines. Note that these guidelines must be followed in order to be considered for the prize.

Submission Guidelines & Information

• Author information sheet (not on the comic book pages) that includes: name, age, and contact information (phone number and/or email address. Must be legible). Do not write this on the comic itself.
• Comic must be submitted on an 8.5x11" paper, the comic must fit within a 6"x9.5" space.*
• No more than ten pages long, one sided. Do not draw on both sides of the paper.
• Submit in-person at the Covington branch or email to covingtonprogramming@gmail.com
  
• Submissions will open September 5 and close September 30.
• Winners will be announced and contacted October 10.

*Papers that have an outline of the 6"x9.5" space are available at the Children's Desk at the Covington branch location.
