Bi-Okoto Cultural Center presents Rhythms of Our Land

Join us on an interactive journey from the USA to West Africa. Learn and enjoy the richness of their culture revealed through the dance and drum performances featuring a broad range of dance dialects and styles with joy, high spirits, and excitement. Each program showcases excerpts from various tribes from Nigeria, Ghana, Guinea, and Senegal using authentic costumes, props, and instruments. 

Throughout this "journey” to West Africa, the participants will be mentally and physically engaged by the drummers and dancers all while learning common greetings in various languages, historical facts, geographic locations, science, and environmental conditions. 

This is an interactive performance and all ages are welcome!
